Coffee-lovers will be pleased to hear of the expansion of Scooter’s Coffee to Oak Hill.
According to a press release from Scooter’s Coffee, franchisees Nilesh and Nisha Patel will be bringing the Midwest-based drive-thru coffee franchise to the Oak Hill area.
Founded in 1998 by Don and Linda Eckles in Bellevue, Nebraska, Scooter’s Coffee has built a substantial network of stores over 25 years in business. Today, Scooter’s Coffee has almost 750 stores across 30 states. There are nine locations currently open in Tennessee.
What Now Nashville connected with co-owner Nisha Patel to discuss plans for the new Scooter’s Coffee.
“We do not have any Scooter’s Coffee in this area at the moment, and we are looking forward to bringing it here,” said Patel. “Scooter’s Coffee is about serving amazing coffee, but we also believe in using this business to build a relationship with the community.”
The Patels are long-time entrepreneurs who own other businesses in the retail and hospitality industries. Franchising with Scooter’s Coffee with be their first venture in the food and beverage space.
Per the business model of Scooter’s Coffee, the Oak Hill location will be drive-thru only.
In addition to premium-grade coffee, the menu includes espresso drinks, fruit smoothies, baked-from-scratch pastries, organic hot and iced teas, cold brews, and breakfast items.
Matthew Sawicki, Scooter’s Coffee VP of Franchise Sales, provided a comment to What Now Nashville about the Patels’ new franchise.
“With over 20 locations and growing in Tennessee we are excited to continue our expansion in great cities like Nashville and surrounding markets,” said Sawicki. “We couldn’t do it without new franchisees like Nilesh Patel and his wife, who live our core values of integrity, love, humility, and courage.”
The Patels are currently exploring locations for their Scooter’s Coffee. Depending on whether they lease a space or build a new site, the project should take about six months.
“Above all else, this is a family business and we are excited to be a part of a business that believes in its team,” Nisha Patel said. “We love that we will be connecting with the community through fast, amazing coffee.”
