Premium activewear brand Alo Yoga is slated for a new location at 2318 12th Ave. S. in Nashville’s 12South neighborhood, according to the Nashville Business Journal. The publication reports the retailer will occupy a new retail building replacing the former 12 South Taproom site alongside Ralph Lauren and Ralph’s Coffee. An opening timeline has not yet been announced.
While details about the Nashville store remain limited, the Nashville Business Journal identified Alo Yoga as one of the future tenants in the redevelopment, which is being undertaken by the Dallas-based group behind the 12South Collection. The project is one of several retail developments currently reshaping the popular shopping district.
According to Alo Yoga’s website, the Los Angeles-based company was founded in 2007 and takes its name from “Air, Land and Ocean.” The brand offers premium apparel, footwear and accessories designed for yoga, training and everyday wear, while promoting a broader lifestyle centered on movement, mindfulness and wellness. In addition to its retail stores, Alo has expanded its presence through digital fitness content and community-focused experiences.
The Nashville Business Journal reports the upcoming Alo store is part of continued investment in 12South, where several retail and mixed-use projects are underway alongside many of the neighborhood’s longtime local businesses.
