Brunch Spot Chef-Owner Going International for Second Restaurant Concept

Pink Lotus will offer global flavors with a local flair.

After finding success with her all-day brunch restaurant B Spot Nola in the Fontainebleau-Marlyville neighborhood, chef-owner Raneka Kitts is pivoting to an international concept for her second restaurant called Pink Lotus, which is set to be located in the former Seafood Sally’s at 8400 Oak St. An Instagram post for B Spot said: “Masterfully curated by our very own Chef Bee, Pink Lotus offers a unique dining experience where global flavors meet local charm.”

The post also indicated that Pink Lotus will be a chef-driven restaurant, with dishes incorporating ingredients from Asia to the Mediterranean. According to Instagram, the restaurant is set to hold interviews for staff positions in mid-July. An opening date has yet to be announced. What Now New Orleans has reached out for comment, but ownership has yet to provide additional details.
