A new concept is set to bring an upscale country vibe to Olde Town Slidell. Positioned as a “little sister” to the Whiskey Tavern in Covington, the Whiskey Saloon describes itself on social media as having an elevated atmosphere that highlights elevated food, craft bourbons, specialty cocktails, and down-home hospitality. Promoted on Facebook as “Boujee Meets Boots,” the bar and music venue invites guests to experience country bands and music in refined yet rustic atmosphere. In addition to live music, there will also be a recurring steak night and karaoke every Thursday.
The new saloon takes over the space formerly occupied by Rockin’ Willy’s, breathing fresh energy into the Northshore location with its rebranded identity focused on top-tier spirits and refined vibes. While official opening timelines and full menu rollouts are still developing, the Whiskey Saloon has booked events for dates starting in early October. What Now New Orleans has reached out to ownership for more information.
