Fueled by success and a recent real estate expansion. Da’ Pearl Seafood & PoBoys in Pearl River is currently expanding to add indoor dining.

Last year, owner Cliff Laigast and partner Chuck Walker announced they secured the property surrounding the takeout spot, adding an impressive 270 feet of commercial frontage along Highway 41. That acquisition set the stage for a dramatic evolution of the restaurant, pivoting from a casual outdoor stop to being an indoor destination. The expansion plans will offer guests year-round seating. Owners have also announced future plans for an on-site fresh market.

“Pearl River has been so good to us,” the team shared on social media, expressing gratitude for the community support since launching. “Change takes time, but we promise it’ll be worth the wait.”

To make way for construction, Da Pearl officially closed its outdoor patio on October 25. A temporary customer tent has been set up on-site to accommodate guests over the next couple of months while construction takes place behind the scenes.

A launch date for the indoor dining room has not been set, and What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.
