Lovers of coffee and baked goods in the Northshore have a new cafe to look forward to as Lavender Coffee prepares to open its brick-and-mortar storefront at 575 Hwy. 1085 in Madisonville. While build-out is underway, the café is staging pop-up events that offer fresh brewed coffee and bottled “Lattes on the Go” alongside a rotating selection of baked goods, including croissants, muffins, cinnamon rolls, scones, and cake pops. Owner Ally Carter recently told What Now New Orleans that the cafe is slated to open in a few months.
Ahead of its opening, Lavender Coffee has teamed up with Uptown-based roastery Cherry Coffee Roasters. In addition to coffee and artisan pastries, the café will offer hot breakfast sandwiches. What Now New Orleans has inquired about additional information.
