With several locations around New Orleans and Baton Rouge, the fast-casual Mediterranean chain Cava is planning its first location in Lafayette. According to documents from the Lafayette Consolidated Government, the new Cava location will be in a two-tenant building set to be constructed at 4220 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy. It will occupy one of the final open slots near the high-traffic intersection of Ambassador Caffery Parkway and Kaliste Saloom Road.

Cava is considered one of the fastest-growing brands in the US, making it no surprise that it has recently announced plans to build locations in both Lafayette and New Orleans. The company was established in 2010 and has become very popular for its use of Mediterranean ingredients to create grain bowls, salads, and pita wraps.
