A modern take on frozen yogurt is heading to Uptown as Stelly’s Frozen Yogurt prepares to open its first brick-and-mortar location at 4711 Freret St. According to recent permit filings and brand materials, the shop takes a scratch-made, small-batch approach, using just four ingredients in its fro-yo base: local milk, real yogurt or skyr, sugar or maple syrup, and natural gelatin. The concept is positioned as a probiotic-rich alternative to traditional ice cream, featuring weekly rotating flavors — such as Cinnamon Vanilla and Blueberry Ube — complemented by house-made toppings like baklava pieces and artisanal granola.

The move to Freret Street marks a significant expansion for the local brand, which has cultivated a following through mobile operations. Stelly’s currently operates out of a vintage trailer parked at The Batture on Walnut Street and has hosted pop-ups at high-profile hotels. What Now New Orleans reached out to the ownership for more details.
