The no-frills Court Tavern Po-Boys shop at 612 Bourbon St. is getting a major overhaul from the owners of The Court of Two Sisters, according to plans filed with the City of New Orleans. The plans indicate that the new po-boy shop will have counter service, table seating, and a bar. Guests who order at the service counter will have their food run to them by food runners. When the new po-boy shop opens for business, it will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

The Court Tavern po-boy shop abuts The Court of Two Sisters restaurant, with the former facing Bourbon Street and the latter facing Royal Street. While the Royal Street restaurant is known for elegant dining and a stunning courtyard, the po-boy shop has been a simple, quick-service restaurant providing essential food and drink to Bourbon Street revelers.
