Elysian Fields Jazz and Sports Bar Becoming Full-Service Restaurant

The bar-restaurant is pivoting to a format that's more family friendly

While the Bourbon Square Jazz Bar on Elysian Fields has been providing food and drinks since 2018, the bar is preparing to switch to a full-service restaurant. According to a permit filing with the City of New Orleans, the full-service restaurant will be kid- and family-friendly. Currently, the Cajun-influenced menu at Bourbon Square Jazz Bar includes seafood, burgers, chicken wings, and salads. Changes to the menu to go with the new format have not been announced. In addition to food and drinks, Bourbon Square Jazz Bar is a licensed cigar and hookah bar that regularly features live entertainment. The bar is also a popular destination for Saints games and other major sporting events, with ten large TVs and a 300-inch projection screen. The bar also offers catering services.
