For more than a decade, Willie’s Chicken Shack has powered the party crowds in New Orleans with fried chicken and daiquiris, and now, it appears a spin-off concept called Willie’s Boil House is coming to 336 Decatur in the French Quarter. According to a permit filing with the City of New Orleans, local restauranteur and Willie’s Chicken Shack owner Aaron Motwani has been working to renovate the space under the brand name “Willie’s Boil House.”

Since its opening in August 2012, Willie’s Chicken Shake has grown into an iconic New Orleans brand. The restaurant currently has eight locations in and around the French Quarter. The company is parlaying its visibility with tourists into a nationwide franchising program. In October 2023, the company announced it would be opening a location in Miami Beach.
