Crave restaurant in Saint Bernard Parish has built its reputation on a menu of modern food that knows no boundaries, and now, the New American restaurant is preparing to open a second location in Slidell. When it opens this fall in the city’s Olde Towne neighborhood at 2219 Carey St., the new location will feature fish dishes, signature salads, burgers, and Asian-inspired plates, according to a Facebook post. The restaurant is currently hiring for all positions, and What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

If the current location of Crave in Meraux is any indication, Slidell is about to get a fun restaurant concept that offers up something different just about every weekend. One recent specials menu included Thai-style pork shanks, a bacon-and-blue-cheese burger, and Not Ya Mom’s Meatloaf.
