Rachael’s Cafe Set to Open Second Restaurant in Maurice

The family-owned restaurant says it is "heading back to where it all started" as it prepares to open its new location.

Rachael’s Cafe is expanding, and this time it plans to open a second location in Maurice, Louisiana.

The new location will be at 8218 Maurice Avenue, it will take over the former Classic Cup building according to Developing Lafayette.

In a Facebook post, Rachael’s Cafe confirmed the move to a second location which stated: “We’re heading back to where it all started: Maurice! Our second location is opening soon, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring Rachael’s Cafe to Vermilion Parish!”

Their current location is at 104 Republic Ave, Lafayette where they offer a variety of dishes.

In January 2012, Rachael’s Cafe opened its doors with the vision of providing customers with quality Cajun & Creole cuisine. It is a family-run business with a passion for sharing a cultural experience through food. Since then, the cafe expanded and doubled its space in 2017. Rachael’s now offers catering, a frozen specialty seafood line and Rachael’s fit meals.

Rachael’s Cafe also posted yesterday on social media that it’s hiring staff for various positions at the Maurice location.

According to the media outlet construction is expected this month.
