The slider wars are heating up, and one rapidly growing chain has staked out a new location in Saint Bernard Parish. Located at 8400 W. Judge Perez Dr. in Chalmette, the first Savvy Sliders location in the parish is currently hiring. According to a post on Facebook, the owners were preparing to move in at the start of August. An official opening date has not been announced, and What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.
Based in Michigan, Savvy Sliders is one of the fastest-growing slider brands in the US. There are currently locations in Michigan, Texas, Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana, including a location in Metairie. The quick service restaurant is known for its sliders, hand-breaded chicken fingers, and hand-spun milkshakes.
