Tsubaki By Koi is preparing to open at 803 W. Pinhook Road in Lafayette, taking over the former Shane’s building.
Now the locally owned Japanese restaurant is relocating from its longtime home at 3564 Ambassador Caffery Parkway, according to Developing Lafayette.
Speaking about the move on their Facebook page, Tsubaki By Koi said they had to leave Ambassador because there’s major construction happening at the old spot.
In the same breath they indicated that they will be serving the exact same delicious food adding that catering orders will be just as amazing. They will also host birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations fun with all the decor, drums, and singing.
At Tsubaki By Koi, guests can expect a menu centered around sushi, sashimi and hibachi. In addition to sushi rolls and sashimi, the menu includes hibachi-grilled steak, chicken and seafood entrees, along with appetizers, noodle dishes and a selection of cocktails.
The restaurant has not yet confirmed an opening date but said it expects to share more information as the project nears completion.
WhatNow Media reached out to the owner but could not get back to us at the time of publication.
