Propelled to internet fame by a viral TikTok review, Dr. FeelGood is a Baton Rouge smoothie shop in rapid expansion mode, and it recently announced a new location planned for Houma. In a recent social media post for its Houma location, Dr. FeelGood said it will be “bringing something GOOD down the bayou with our açaí bowls, superfood smoothies, sea moss, in-house bites and more!”

“No ice, no fillers, no junk in our cups!” the post continued. In addition to the newly announced Houma location, the company has also filed for an Ascension Parish location in Gonzales. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

In 2024, Dr. FeelGood saw a massive explosion in popularity following a glowing review by TikToker Keith Lee. When What Now New Orleans covered the first expansion of Dr. FeelGood, owner Heather Smith said she didn’t expect to be expanding so quickly, adding that she was taking the newfound fame “one day at a time.”
