Home and personal care products typically come in disposable bottles that are meant to be recycled or thrown in the trash. An upcoming Slidell business called Southern Refillery is looking to turn this practice on its head by offering these products in classically designed, refillable containers. Once these bottles and jars have been emptied of their initial contents, they can be brought back to be refilled with the companies all natural products in a more sustainable approach.

“We believe sustainable living should never mean sacrificing beauty, quality, or elegance,” the company posted on Instagram.

Southern Refillery will be located at 2004 1st St. in Slidell. An open date is scheduled for early August and What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.
