Forest Hills to Welcome New Chick-fil-A Location
A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is opening up in the Forest Hills neighborhood of New York. The new restaurant is located at 106-20 Continental Avenue. It offers dine-in, carry-out, and third-party delivery services to the neighborhood. The restaurant is expected to create about 60 jobs for the Forest Hills neighborhood.
On the opening day, the restaurant is distributing a free entrée to those who dress in cow-print. With Jonathan Dickson as the local owner-operator, the store opens on September 4, 2025, from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Former On-Air TV Host Becomes Local Owner-Operator
From pre-med to joining the entertainment industry, local owner-operator Jonathan Dickson has walked a vibrant path. He was an on-air TV host and appeared on several streaming services and primetime television. However, he found meaning in service during his time volunteering at the New York City soup kitchen.
This inspired his ongoing commitment to service. He then trained with Chick-fil-A Charleston’s local owner-operator and was soon selected for the same role. He comes with his experience as the local owner-operator at Chick-fil-A in Queens Center Mall. His wife, Lacy, will oversee marketing, events, and community outreach at the Forest Hills location.
Opening Day Free Program
Chick-fil-A is making opening day in Forest Hills memorable with a fun, community-focused event. It is encouraging the neighborhood to dress up in cow print, from a full-blown costume to a simple accessory. Guests dressing up will receive one free entrée on the opening day. The offer is limited to one person per day and requires no purchase to avail.
Chick-fil-A has been encouraging communities to skip on the burgers and “Eat More Chikin” since 1995.
Giving Back to the Community
Forest Hills restaurant will be participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program. The program redirects surplus food to local nonprofits. To date, the program has helped provide over 35 million meals nationwide and continues to expand.
Dickson is committed to giving back to the community and will actively take part in the program. In celebration of the new opening, $25,000 will be donated to Feeding America.
Through programs like Shared Table and local donations, the Forest Hills restaurant aims to make a positive impact in the community.
