Dumpling Xi is expanding in the United States, with its next location set to open in Manhattan’s East Village. The Chinese dumpling brand, which is well-established in China with over 800 locations in 40 cities, will open its second location in the US on July 1.

Dumpling Xi Announces Second Location in the US in Manhattan

Dumpling Xi debuted earlier this year with a location in Flushing and is expanding to Manhattan this July. The brand will be presenting its offerings to dumpling and Chinese cuisine lovers in Manhattan and New York.

The restaurant will be open from 11 AM to 10 PM, Sunday through Thursday, and 11 AM to 11 PM, Friday through Saturday. It will be located at 71 4th Ave at the corner of E 10th Street.

What to Expect at the New Dumpling Xi Location

Dumpling Xi’s Manhattan location at East Village will present a fast-casual, dine-in-only experience. It will blend the essence of traditional Chinese hospitality with the spirit of a fast-casual NYC eatery.

It invites guests to a relaxed setting intentionally designed with a warm, minimalist aesthetic where they can fully enjoy the dumplings. With a total of 70 seats, its modern design offers a more intimate dining experience.

Food and Beverage Offerings

Each dumpling will be made to order in the kitchen and served hot, instead of being frozen and reheated. The brand will have its Signature Dumplings, which guests can choose to have boiled or fried.

In addition to the dumplings, a variety of Red Chili Oil Dumplings, Braised Pork Neck Bone, and a selection of Hot Pots will also be offered. A range of Cold side dishes and desserts will also be part of the menu. Guests can customize their flavors at the self-serve condiment bar to make the dishes to their taste.

As for beverages, Herbal Tea, Coconut Milk, BeiBingYang Sparkling Orange Soda, and other standard soft drinks are also available.

Known for its Northern Chinese dumpling tradition, Dumpling Xi was founded in 2002 on the philosophy of “freshly rolled, freshly stuffed, freshly made.” It has grown to have a 27 million membership in China and is celebrated for the regional Northern Chinese flavors that it offers.
