Experienced hospitality operators Chris Reda and Jesse Baer have a new concept in the works in the West Village. They are looking to open Bevy’s at 47 Seventh Ave. South, according to community board filings. The space was formerly home to Mad Morton.

The all-day Italian cafe is 2,500 square feet with plans that call for 11 tables with 42 seats and one bar. The proposed hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 1 a.m Monday through Wednesday, with hours extended to 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday and restricted to 12 a.m. on Sunday.

The proposed menu for the spot includes appetizers such as house-made bread and salads; pizzas such as margherita supreme, burrata, and spicy sausage and kale; pasta such as cacio e pepe and linguine and clams; and entrees including grilled whole branzino and chicken marsala.

Reda is the owner behind former concepts such as Gansevoort Market in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. Reda confirmed plans for a new concept but was not immediately available to provide further details.
