AO Hospitality is targeting a summer 2025 opening for its new concept, Chinese Odyssey. The restaurant, which has filed paperwork for 239 Seventh Avenue and 167 West 23rd Street, will feature fine-dining Chinese cuisine.

Chinese Odyssey will have dim sum including shrimp dumplings and potstickers, appetizers like century eggs with pickled peppers and Szechuan garlic pork, entrees like stewed beef in hot chili soup and braised whole fish, American-Chinese dishes like beef with broccoli, soup, rice noodles and desserts like black sesame rice balls.

The restaurant will have an upscale atmosphere, making it ideal for private and corporate events as well, an AO Hospitality representative told What Now New York.

AO Hospitality, owned by Ruizhao Ao, has two other concepts centered around Asian cuisine. HUPO in Long Island City and SHAN in Brooklyn both serve authentic Szechuan food.

Chinese Odyssey will be open for lunch and dinner.
