Zut alors! A brand new French Bistro is opening up in NoHo later this year.
The founder of the immensely popular healthy Mediterranean franchise Dill & Parsley, Balahan Bobus has decades of experience in hospitality and is deeply passionate about providing people with high-quality, nutritious meals with amazing flavors. Founded in 2014, Dill and Parsley current operates at 5 different locations across Manhattan and is known for highlighting ingredients and flavors indigenous to the Aegean coastline and central Anatolian regions. Inspired by centuries-old Mediterranean recipes, Balahan’s passion for quality cooking has put Dill & Parsley on the map.
Now, Balahan is taking his experience and passion and using it to open up an entirely new concept – Josephina. Described as an upscale French bistro, Josephina will cater to the Soho, Noho, Nolita, and Grammercy neighborhoods while attracting clientele from across Manhattan. Preserving most of the original layout of the restaurant, Balahan is committed to being a responsible neighbor and is looking forward to creating new job opportunities and sharing his vision with the community.
Moving into the space at 643 Broadway, Josephina will be replacing Bleecker Kitchen & Co. Located at the busy corner of Broadway and Bleecker Street, the location is primed for success with an impressive 6,600 square feet of space, divided between the Ground Floor, Cellar, and Subcellar. With enough room to seat 148 guests at one time, Josephina will be a spacious and bustling bistro, a perfect addition to the neighborhood.
