The New York City-based Vietnamese chain Banhmigos is “coming soon” to 79 Norman Avenue in Greenpoint.

The space has been vacant these past few months since CUP Coffee closed. The Vietnamese chain owned by Jay Cai has served the community for many years and has locations at 92 Court Street in Brooklyn Heights, 636 Park Place in Crown Heights, 178 Lincoln Place in Park Slope, and 4018 Hylan Boulevard in Great Kills, Staten Island. It serves staples made fresh daily at relatively affordable prices such as banh mi and tacos for $10.25-$11.25, summer rolls for $6.75-$7, pho for $13-$14, salads for $7.25-$13, rice bowls for $11.50-$12.50, bubble tea for $4.25-$2.75, and other beverages like Vietnamese coffee and thai tea for $4 or less.

“This place rocks,” one customer testimonial reads. “Whenever I’m in the mood for a Vietnamese sandwich I come running here and they never disappoint.”

“Love their banh mi sandwiches,” another customer review reads. “Full of flavor and always hits the spot.”
