Restaurateur Bobby Kwak plans to open an Asian bakery, Garden of Eve, in the first quarter of 2024, he tells What Now New York. Its address has not been revealed yet.

It is still in the very early planning stages, so there is not much information available at press time, he says. However he confirms that it will be a dessert house with Asian pastries. It is currently under construction, says Steven Hall, a public relations representative for the restaurant.

Kwak is affiliated with renowned restaurants and nightclubs in the New York City area, from Midtown’s Korean BBQ joint Baekjeong to Chelsea’s exclusive Mission Nightclub, to Hoboken, New Jersey’s pre-made healthy meal operation Deliciously Fit and more. His newest venture, Noksu, a small upscale Korean eatery, will be coming to Midtown this summer, he told What Now New York.

Baekjeong has received high-ratings from critics. It also has an impressive Hall of Fame, graced by industry icons like late food journalist and chef Anthony Bourdain, restaurateur behind Momofuku David Chang and celebrity chef of Chopped Amanda Freitag to Hollywood celebrities like Ed Sheeran and Raven Symoné.
