A well-known diner is growing its presence across New York City.
Carnegie Diner & Cafe, operated by Carnegie Hospitality, will open its next location at 20 Hudson Yards in the Hudson Yards Grill space.
The new restaurant will mark the brand’s seventh New York City location, joining existing outposts in Times Square, Central Park, Greeley Square Park, the Diamond District, Midtown and Brooklyn. The restaurant operates additional locations in Secaucus, N.J., and Vienna, Va.
The upcoming 11,500-square-foot space will have over 300 seats and three private dining rooms. There will be a “massive” bar and bar room, making it ideal for after-work happy hours, a spokesperson told Whatnow New York City.
The interior will showcase dot-pop portraits by internationally renowned artist Phillip Tsiaras.
The restaurant will also debut Carnegie Diner & Cafe Express in Hudson Yards, offering a convenient grab-and-go selection of salads, sandwiches and bowls.
Guests can expect the same elevated diner fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with seasonal snacks, from chef and owner Stathis Antonakopoulos.
To complement the menu, Carnegie Diner & Cafe offers signature cocktails, including the “Blackberry Craze,” made with gin, blackberry syrup, lemon and mint, and the “Bittersweet Symphony,” featuring Absolut vodka, Campari, lime, homemade grapefruit cordial and grapefruit soda. Beer and wine, along with unlimited mimosas, bellinis and Bloody Marys round out the offerings.
The Hudson Yards location plans to open in February 2027.
