Less than a year after Casa Louie debuted at Hudson Yards, the Italian restaurant is preparing to expand. It has “coming soon” signage up at 378 Greenwich St. in Tribeca.

Casa Louie serves Italian cuisine, including Sicilian square pies; pizza such as vodka pie, spicy broccoli rabe (Calabrian chili, fresh mozzarella, scamorza and garlic) and prosciutto and arugula (San Danielle prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, pecorino, basil and lemon oil); sandwiches like Italiano and prosciutto and parm; and classic Italian favorites such as rigatoni carbonara, spaghetti limone and rigatoni vodka. The beverage program features cocktails and wine.

Local restaurateurs Jonah Phillips and Marom Unger are behind Casa Louie. The duo is also part of the ownership behind Suram Sushi & Ramen, and Phillips is part of the team behind Friedman’s.

Efforts to obtain comment from the Casa Louie ownership team prior to publication were unsuccessful. As of now, an opening timeline for the Tribeca location remains unclear.
