Tequila enthusiasts can indulge in curated flights, while beer and wine lovers will find a thoughtful selection to complement their meal.

Dos Tres was conceptualized by owner Marco Britti, who brings years of experience in creating successful restaurant concepts in New York City including Calle Dao and Mareluna. Marco moved to New York City from Puglia, Italy, in 1996 to pursue a music career as a drummer. His big break came when he partnered up with a fellow musician who was a bass player for Marc Anthony. His music career took off and he went on a South American tour with Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez. While touring, he loved how so many people came together through music and also food. Marco decided to move back to the United States, and shortly after, his Cuban-Chinese restaurant Calle Dao was born. He also owns two Italian restaurants called Mareluna, serving a modern take on Italian food and now with the help of Executive Chef Henry Zamora will be bringing Dos Tres to life on 23rd Street in Chelsea.

Executive Chef Henry Zamora is a seasoned culinary leader renowned for his innovative approach to modern gastronomy. With over two decades of experience, he has worked in prestigious kitchens, including at The Bazaar by José Andrés, French Laundry and Narisawa in Tokyo. Throughout his career, Chef Zamora has gained recognition for blending classic techniques with contemporary flavors, focusing on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. His culinary philosophy centers on creating unforgettable dining experiences, combining artful presentation with rich, complex flavors. A passionate mentor, he is committed to fostering the next generation of chefs while continuously pushing boundaries in the kitchen while respecting culinary tradition.

The menu offers a delicious journey through vibrant Mexican flavors with standout dishes across every category. When it comes to tacos, Dos Tres doesn’t disappoint. Try the Carnitas, with tender confit pork with salsa verde cruda, or the Birria with salsa negra. For seafood fans, there’s the Pescado Frito with salsa roja cruda, and Camaron tacos made with grilled shrimp and salsa macha to bring a smoky, spicy heat. The Pollo Asado made with grilled chicken and salsa de aguacate is a standout and for a vegetarian option, the Nopales taco, feature grilled cactus with salsa de Guajillo. For entrees, the Enchiladas Verde are a must-try, with tangy tomatillo and cotija cheese, while the Mexican Paella—loaded with chorizo, shrimp, and clams in a rich salsa roja—offers a savory, comforting taste of coastal Mexico.
