The East Village-based cafe company Coffee Project New York is opening its eighth outpost at 450 Washington in Tribeca soon.

Married couple Chi Sum Ngai and Kaleena Teoh opened Coffee Project New York in the East Village in 2015. The duo quit their jobs in tech to pursue their passion project of opening up a cafe. Now they have seven outposts across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens where they roast their own beans, which they sell wholesale, as well as offer classes ranging from barista intensives to entrepreneurship lessons at their Long Island City outpost.

Its classic cafe menu includes a wide-variety of coffee and tea beverages, including their signature deconstructed latte with oat milk, as well as sandwiches and pastries. It also sells brewing gear and annual coffee subscriptions that can be delivered to your door.
