On the heels of opening a location at Rockefeller Center in May, Eataly Caffe has a new location heading to the city. It will open this June on level four of Hudson Yards, according to the Eataly website.
This will be the fifth location for the brand within New York City, joining spots in Flatiron, Downtown, SoHo and Rockefeller Center. The first marketplace for Eataly opened up in 2007 in Torino, Italy, and it now has more than 40 locations across the globe.
“You can swing by our market for a glass of wine and a bite before picking up a few tomatoes, a piece of cheese and a loaf of bread for a simple and delicious dinner — but you can also learn how those tomatoes were grown, explore the history of an Italian region through its cheese and stop to appreciate the smell of baking bread made with our time-honored natural mother yeast,” the Eataly website states. “More than a market, Eataly has become an experience. Just as Oscar had intended, it is a place where you can eat, shop and learn.”
There are locations in other U.S. cities such as Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Dallas.
Eataly is known for its Italian-inspired cuisine, including pasta, pizzas, wine, cocktails, coffee with 100% Arabica beans, paninis and housemade gelato.
