La Tete d’Or will be opening this November at 1 Madison Avenue, blending an American steakhouse menu with a Parisian dining experience on the ground floor of the One Madison Avenue building.

The restaurant will be the first steakhouse to join the portfolio of chef Daniel Boulud’s Dinex Group, which features other New York City concepts like Daniel, Bar Boulud and Cafe Boulud.

Boulud, who named the spot after a park in the city of Lyon, France, will combine his French background with American classic steakhouse cuisine for the new spot. He plans to source the steak from Japan and the Midwest and grill it over a wood-fueled hearth, according to reporting by BNN Bloomberg.

La Tete d’Or will feature a large main dining area that will seat 150 as well as a cocktail bar and lounge. Customers will also be able to visit an omakase steak and seafood table for a unique tasting experience.

The new restaurant will also offer a private dining area for events.
