Five Iron Golf Swings Into New Upper East Side Expansion

It’s time to break out those drivers New York, because New York’s premiere indoor golfing club is getting ready to launch a brand new location on the Upper East Side later this summer.

Five Iron Golf is one of the nation’s leading indoor golf and entertainment experiences, combining the fundamentals of urban golf with a community-focused vision of the game. Founded in 2017 in Manhattan, Five Iron Golf has since expanded across the coast, and can no be found in 12 location across eight cities in the US. Popular for providing an unconventional take on one of America’s classic past-times, Five Iron Golf is loved by amateurs and professionals alike, offering everything pros need to take their game to the next level while providing new players hours of entertainment and exclusive food and drink options.

In New York, Five Iron Golf currently operates three different locations in Fidi, Flatiron, and Herald Square. Now though, Fine Iron Golf has just secured the lease for a brand new experience at 1681 Third Avenue. Offering approximately 11,000 square feet of space on the Upper East Side, Five Iron Golf will be moving into The Kent, a newly constructed luxury residential tower.

The new location will feature 9 custom-built golf simulators with high-speed cameras to capture every angle of the golf swing. In addition to the simulators, Five Iron also offers access to teaching professionals, leagues, club storage, showers, and high quality clubs available for session use. Members will also have access to Five Iron’s popular Fitting Lab, a custom club-fitting company that helps players of all skill levels understand how their equipment choices affect their game.

For beginner and hobbyist players, Five Iron Golf also offers flexible event spaces with full bar service, fantastic food menus, and alternative games like shuffleboard, ping pong, and Golden Tee. The new location is expected to be operational by this summer, and plans are also in place to open a new center in LIC, though the specific location has not yet been revealed.
