JFK International Airport is slated to undergo a major shift in their Terminal 4 food and beverage offerings. Tapping both local and national brands, the Port Authority and Terminal 4 operator JFKIAT are working to transform Terminal 4.
As part of the new food and beverage options, HMSHost — a leader in travel dining — is partnering with the James Beard Foundation (JBF) to bring fast-casual concept Good To Go by JBF to Terminal 4 alongside other new offerings, according to a release.
The JBF launched the concept in 2023 at a kiosk in the Pier 57 Food Hall. The concept aims to embody JBF’s “Good Food for Good” mission. It features a menu crafted by award-winning chefs.
The Good To Go by JBF location in Terminal 4 will feature a menu crafted by the team behind Due Madri, a popular sandwich shop located inside Market 57 at Pier 57. Erika Nakamura and Jocelyn Guest launched Due Madri in 2023, offering Italian sandwiches and wine.
The concept will be one of many local brands to join the terminal during this revamp.
“The transformation of T4 and JFK Airport has given us a new opportunity to work with local businesses and provide gateways for meaningful local investment,” JFKIAT CEO Roel Huinink said in the release. “I am looking forward to the arrival of our new local partners at T4, and I am pleased that we will be able to offer our customers even more authentic New York flavors and experiences.”
A spokesperson with HMSHost shared that an opening timeline is still forthcoming for the new food and beverage locations.
