A major vibe shift is set to take place at the corner of 1st Avenue and East 3rd Street in the East Village as Conall’s Public House prepares to replace the long-running lounge Karma at 51 1st Ave.

According to Conall’s official Instagram page, the project is a “New Irish Cocktail Sports Pub coming to the East Village in Spring 2026.” In a recent update to followers, the team expressed anticipation for the launch, stating, “So close to opening, we can almost taste the cocktails.” The storefront has already been revitalized with a green Irish public house facade and gold-leaf signage. What Now New York has reached out for more information.

According to a job posting on Culinary Agents, management is currently seeking bartenders with deep knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and beer. While an exact opening date has not been announced, the combination of completed exterior branding and social media posts suggests the doors will likely open soon.
