Felice has arrived in Brooklyn Heights with the opening of Felice Montague, a spokesperson told What Now New York in an email. The restaurant debuted Monday, January 17, 2022, and is open seven days a week, at 84 Montague St. The menu can be viewed here.
Serving its classic Italian cuisine inspired by the Tuscan villages, the restaurant continues its commitment to importing the finest, artisanal Italian products that have been crafted for centuries to capture the truest essence of Italian cuisine with its newest location.
“The Felice menu has an emphasis on fresh, locally-sourced produce,” according to a press release. “Culinary Director Iacopo Falai ensures the highest quality ingredients in classic dishes such as The Crostone Ricotta and the Fusilli al Ferretto e Burrata, as well as new dishes, created especially for this new location, such as a variety of Paste Al Forno (baked pasta).”
Felice Montague’s beverage program features wines from the Tuscan region, as well as a “thoughtful” cocktail menu.
A distinct space within Brooklyn Heights, Felice Montague is located in an art deco-style building from the 1930s. Designer Samantha Tannehill incorporates the rich colors of the preserved tile and material around the bar and bold geometry throughout the space as a nod to that era while marrying in the Felice Tuscan look and feel.
The restaurant is open with seating for groups, ideal for families dining or larger parties. The space was designed to feel timeless, integrating the existing elements of the building while aiming to create a restaurant that transports one to a local trattoria in Tuscany upon walking through the doors.
Felice has eight locations with the addition of the Brooklyn Heights outpost, according to the company’s website, with a location on Hudson street “coming soon.”
