Top O’ The Morning, New York! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas weekend, safely surrounded by your loved ones and plenty of home-cooked food. Hope you didn’t stuff yourself though, because a brand new Irish Pub and restaurant is coming to Hudson Yards next year.
O’Toole’s Way is the latest concept from restaurateur Jeffrey Brosi. As the Managing Partner of In Good Company Hospitality, Jeff is bringing with him nearly two decades of experience in the industry. A Bayside, Queens native, Jeff joined the team in 2002 and helped them open up Bungalow Bar in 2008. Since then, Jeff has become critical to the company’s operation and has since helped them launch some of their most successful concepts, including Park Avenue Tavern, Parker & Quinn, Winnies Jazz Bar, Trademark Taste and Grind, and Belle Shoals.
Moving into the space at 530 West 30th Street in Hudson Yards, O’Toole’s Way is styled as a traditional Irish Pub serving upscale-yet-casual American fare. Offering a hearty selection of soups and salads for starters, O’Toole’s will also offer traditional pub fare like steak frites, chicken sandwiches and reubens, mac n cheese, and of course three classic burgers with one vegetarian option. O’Toole’s will also offer some unique specialties like Uncle Pat’s Comeback Roasted Chicken with pepper jack and jalapeno tequila sauce, and shrimp risotto with house-made tomato sauce and wild mushrooms.
Moving into previously unused, empty real estate space, O’Toole’s Way is positioned to become a critical feature of Hudson Yard’s surging development plans. Occupying two floors for a total square footage of 5,476 square feet, O’Toole’s will feature an additional terrace space for guests above the ground floor. With enough tables to seat 30 guests outside and 46 guests indoors, the second-floor terrace will be a beautiful addition to the space and offer an ample amount of additional seating. While further details of the project are still forthcoming, with a mind like Jeff Brosi behind it, it’s doubtless that no matter what happens we’ll certainly be In Good Company.
