The new fitness center planned for One Wall Street is finally gearing up to open to the public later this summer.
Life Time Athletic Club is one of New York’s premier fitness centers. Boasting more than 150 locations worldwide, the luxurious health club is known for providing its members with state of the art saltwater pools, spas with steam rooms and whirlpools, basketball courts, yoga studios, and modern gyms with the latest equipment. In New York, Life Time currently operates two locations in Brooklyn and two in Manhattan, and now more details have been released about their plans for Manhattan’s third location.
Begun in 2019, Life Time Athletic Club has been steadily developing a brand new fitness center for Macklowe Properties’ One Wall Street. The new premier athletic resort will feature professional classes hosted by world-class trainers as well as an assortment of luxurious amenities such as a child care center and their signature Life Spa experience. Perhaps most excitingly, the new center will also offer members nourishing food options through the Life Café.
Occupying 26,981 square feet of the health club, the Life Café will serve healthy meals on demand to hungry members every day from 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM. The café is also in the process of acquiring an on-premise liquor license, which will enable members to enjoy a relaxing day at the spa and unwind with some nutritious food and their favorite cocktail. The health center’s restaurant space will feature a maximum allowed capacity of 432 People and is currently expected to open to the public in Summer 2022.
