A new bistro concept called Lily Pond is heading to 183 West 10th St. in the West Village. Co-owner Michael Della Femina shared with What Now New York that the spot is expected to open later this winter.

Lily Pond will be the second restaurant concept in a short period of time that Della Femina is bringing to the city. Popular Los Angeles spot Croft Alley, which Della Femina opened in Beverly Hills in 2014, opened recently in SoHo — the brand’s first location outside of Los Angeles.

Croft Alley is known for its breakfast and lunch fare, ranging from avocado toast to salads and bowls.

Posts on Lily Pond’s Instagram indicate that the design of the space has been progressing toward opening over the past couple months. Food teased on the Instagram page indicates plans for breakfast items, sandwiches and salads.

Lily Pond will neighbor fellow West Village spot Smalls Jazz Club.
