A new bistro concept called Lily Pond is heading to 183 West 10th St. in the West Village. Co-owner Michael Della Femina shared with What Now New York that the spot is expected to open later this winter.
Lily Pond will be the second restaurant concept in a short period of time that Della Femina is bringing to the city. Popular Los Angeles spot Croft Alley, which Della Femina opened in Beverly Hills in 2014, opened recently in SoHo — the brand’s first location outside of Los Angeles.
Della Femina shared that Lily Pond’s menu will have French and Korean influences. They are also aiming to gain a liquor license in February to add a bar element to the bistro. Prior to securing that license, they plan to open up for breakfast, lunch and private dining.
Lily Pond will neighbor fellow West Village spot Smalls Jazz Club.
