Croft Alley is planning to bring its first New York City location to SoHo this year, with plans to open later this fall in a 3,500-square-foot space at 210 Sixth Avenue, according to community board filings. The space was formerly home to Lola’s Taverna.
The spot will be a neighborhood restaurant that aims to serve the local community, according to filed paperwork. Michael Della Femina, Adam Rubin, Andrew Shanfeld, Madison Bright and Phuong Tran are behind Croft Alley.
Croft Alley hails from the West Coast. It was founded in Los Angeles in 2014 and currently has its flagship location open in Beverly Hills, located just off Rodeo Drive. The brand also has a location in the Aon Center in Los Angeles.
The Croft Alley menu focuses on classic breakfast, brunch and lunch fare. It features breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast burritos; salads and bowls such as the spicy tuna bowl and the curry chicken bowl; lettuce wraps; and sandwiches such as tuna melts, patty melts and turkey sandwiches.
Plans for the SoHo space call for 17 tables that will seat 52 customers, as well as one bar that will seat 12. There are also plans for a sidewalk cafe, which would add 20 tables and 47 seats.
The proposed hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily.
