Maison Passerelle will be opening this coming year inside Printemps, the Paris luxury department store heading to 1 Wall Street in the Financial District.

The fine-dining restaurant is slated to open in spring 2025 under the culinary direction of chef Gregory Gourdet.

Gourdet is collaborating with New York-based Saga Hospitality, helmed by James Kent, on the concept. Saga Hospitality and Gourdet will also oversee four other food and beverage locations in the Printemps store.

“The French ‘Passerelle’ literally translates to ‘bridge’ and Gourdet creates a ‘bridge language’ from France to New York through food,” a company spokesperson shared in an email with What Now New York.

For now, the company declined to share further details regarding the Maison Passerelle concept.

Gourdet is a James Beard award-winning chef with a background at Portland’s Departure Restaurant + Lounge and as owner of his Portland-based Haitian restaurant Kann. He has served as both a finalist and judge on Top Chef.
