Queens-based Mariscos El Submarino is expanding, with a third location in the works at 507 Myrtle Avenue in Clinton Hill, according to a post on the restaurant’s Instagram page earlier this month.
“Today is a good day to announce something that makes us very happy and that would not be possible without you,” the announcement states. “A third submarine is on the way! Thank you for everything, we love you very much.”
It will join the other two locations currently open, which includes one in Jackson Heights and another in Greenpoint.
Alonso Guzman and Amy Hernandez launched the brand in 2020 in Jackson Heights. The seafood restaurant is known for ceviche, aguachile, tacos, empanadas and cocktails.
Guzman confirmed the new location in a phone call with What Now New York. As of now, the opening timeline remains unclear.
