A new sushi lounge called White Swan is slated to move into Midtown.

The concept will be a two-floor restaurant and bar with the first floor offering 90 seats and the mezzanine floor offering 30 seats for customers. The concept was created by co-owners Eli Chetrit, Jacob Aini and Kanvar Singh, a few of whom are investors that reportedly listed the condominium where it will be housed for $50 million earlier this year. The owners are also involved with Elsie Rooftop, a luxurious rooftop restaurant and bar, in Midtown and Glass Ceiling Rooftop, a brand new luxurious lounge, in Nomad.

The new upscale sushi lounge will also have two bars with 16 seats and its anticipated hours are 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. daily, according to its liquor license application.

Its menu includes but is not limited to appetizers such as edamame with a spicy miso glaze, gyoza, yellowtail taco with rosé reduction, spicy carrots with raisin and sesame, wagyu beef carpaccio with seaweed slaw, and tuna pizza.

It will also offer entrees including a miso glazed co and crispy chicken teriyaki, and sushi and sashimi including spicy yellowtail with jalapeño, tuna with pazo sauce, salmon with asparagus, cucumber roll, avocado roll, fatty toro roll, as well as Japanese meat and desserts such as spicy green tea mochi and red bean sorbet.

The team is also seeking a full liquor license.
