Fast-casual chain Naya, known for its Middle Eastern-inspired menu offerings, has already shared with What Now New York that multiple locations are in the works for New York City, including spots opening later this spring and during the summer in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

However, Naya has another lease secured in the Manhattan market, chief development officer Paul Rittenberg told What Now New York. It will open later this year at 827 Third Ave.

The space is about 1,500 square feet, according to reporting by the New York Business Journal.

Boston-based Madras Dosa Co. also recently inked a deal at 829 Third Ave., the space next door to the future Naya location.

The location is part of major expansion plans for Naya, which serves build-your-own bowls, rolls and salads featuring options like chicken shawarma and lamb kebab. Since Hady Kfoury founded Naya in 2008, the chain has grown to 31 locations, mainly in New York but also in a few different markets including Philadelphia, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Rittenberg said that ultimately they are aiming to hit 200 locations by the end of 2030, with plans to continue to build out in the New York market — as they are doing this year — as well as in the other markets they have already dipped into.

Thus far, the expansion is going well, Rittenberg said in a previous interview.

“It centers around the quality of the food and the service we provide,” Rittenberg previously told What Now New York. “We [look to] do better and innovate. There’s tons of stuff we’re working on at all times.”
