MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM in New York is soon to reopen after its transformation. Bringing new experiences to visitors, the reopening offers more room for movement and fun. The relaunch celebrations will bring limited-time experiences to SoHo.
MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM to Reopen in New York Next Month

Global experiential brand MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM (MOIC) has revealed the evolution of its SoHo flagship. Reopening on February 4, 2026, the three-story destination offers a bigger and brighter space for a playful experience. The relaunch comes with features that bring a joyful escape for families, friends, couples, and anyone looking for a good time.
It is the beginning of MOIC’s next chapter, which brings together people through a shared joy of their favorite treat. With new secret rooms, a larger-than-life carnival, a playground, and more, there’s a lot to witness at the reopening.
“From day one, our goal was to build an immersive museum that makes people of all ages feel something real,” said Manish Vora, CEO of MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM. “This next chapter of our NYC flagship reflects how far we’ve come and how boldly we continue to design for joy, connection, and pure imaginative fun.”
A Revamped Experience Awaits Visitors

MOIC will soon offer new experiences to New York, starting with the Hall of Freezers, which leads to several secret rooms. The newly added Sundae House brings a hands-on kitchen of imagination and play. There is also the expanded Banana Split Jungle and an interactive exhibit exploring the history and science of ice cream.
All these new additions are to debut with the brand’s now-legendary Sprinkle Pool. The Ice Cream Subway and a new private event space will also make this relaunch special.
Celebrating Reopening with Exclusive Events

MOIC is celebrating this occasion as grandly as ever. It is hosting limited-edition experiences, including themed nights, special tastings, and playful events. These bring its global fan community together to share ice cream and nostalgia.
As the relaunch is happening in the month of love, the events include a Valentine’s Day Sips and Scoops Date Night. Here, couples, friends, and families can explore the exhibit and indulge in ice cream and wine pairing. However, the wine pairing is optional and limited to visitors aged 21 or older.
These exclusive events will take place on February 12 and 19. They combine romance, imagination, and shared joy to visitors. Tickets and additional information are available here.
The MOIC reopening marks a fresh start for the beloved exhibit. With refreshed features, it invites visitors to rediscover the joy of play. As exclusive events line up for February, it is sure to become a must-visit stop.
