Nan Xiang Express announced the opening of its largest location yet, nestled in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn. The location will soft open on Friday, September 15, 2023. This area is home to students from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, City College of Technology, Long Island University, and many MTA Employees, is the perfect backdrop for the expanding chain’s most ambitious outpost.

With traditional favorites like pork soup dumplings and new additions like spicy beef soup dumplings, Nan Xiang Express provides culinary options for Downtown Brooklyn’s residents and workers. The commitment to Michelin-recommended quality at an accessible price continues to guide the brand, with average costs around $20 per person.

With over 1,000 square feet of dining area and approximately 40 seats, the restaurant is both takeout and dine-in friendly. “Our largest Nan Xiang Express location represents a significant step in our growth,” said Nan Xiang spokesperson Michael Ma in a statement. “We’re excited to embrace the diversity of Downtown Brooklyn, catering to students seeking an affordable yet quality meal, professionals on the go, and families looking for delicious, authentic flavors.”

The goal for Nan Xiang Express extends beyond Downtown Brooklyn, with plans to grow gradually in the tri-state area and eventually coast to coast. Downtown Brooklyn is a significant step in this journey.

The Downtown Brooklyn store is located at 148 Lawrence St, Brooklyn, NY 11201, and will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
