Maroon signage on 127 W 26th St. heralds a new cocktail bar, Primrose, coming to Nomad. The upcoming cocktail bar is opening in a space that formerly held a wizard-themed bar called The Cauldron NYC, which abruptly closed in mid-2025.

Primrose is the latest location for The Letterkenny Hospitality Group, co-owned by Packie Kennedy and Brian McLaughlin. Named after a town in Ireland, Letterkenny is the overarching hospitality group behind a handful of bars in New York and Pennsylvania, like Carragher’s in the Financial District and Towne House in Media, Penn.

According to the upcoming bar’s Instagram bio, Primrose will serve as a neighborhood eatery and cocktail bar. It is set to open in the summer of 2026, still building out its founding team.
