Leciel has filed liquor license paperwork with the community board for a restaurant at 129 Rivington Street on the Lower East Side.
The menu will feature American bistro food. Items on the proposed menu include salmon crudo, beef tartare, fried oysters and bacon and shrimp skewers. Salad options include Caesar salad, burrata salad (with burrata, tomatoes, prosciutto, arugula, bread and balsamic dressing) and beet salad (with beets, carrots, watermelon radish, arugula and balsamic dressing). Entrees include risotto shrimp, salmon and curry, tiger prawn spaghetti, beef lasagna and a spicy beef burger.
Leciel is expected to have 10 indoor tables that will seat 22 customers. There will also be one bar. The proposed hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily.
The listed principals for the location are Kittithat Kaewsawang and Siu Thing Kwok. As of now, an opening timeline remains unknown.
