The pastry chef and founder of OddFellows, an ice cream chain that debuted in 2013, is teaming up with a fellow chef and a hospitality industry leader to debut a donut shop called Sweet Graffiti.
The 350-square-foot space is slated to offer just 10 yeasted donuts in unique flavors that you likely won’t find anywhere else including cherry and miso, beet chocolate and peanut lemongrass. The concept was created by Sam Mason of OddFellows, chef Franklin Becker of Seasoned Hospitality’s Press Club Grill and Point Seven, and Stephen Loffredo, leading partner of Seasoned Hospitality, who has over four decades of experience. The team anticipates its grand opening to be in March.
Seasoned Hospitality specializes in operations, development and consulting for restaurants and hotels. It is behind The Wild and Maison Kayser, as well as the Franklin Hotel, Martinique on Broadway, VERSA, 1251 Avenue of the Americas, The Ram’s Head Inn, Manhattanville Market at Columbia University, Empire City Casino in Yonkers, and K PASA in Sag Harbor.
Loffredo spent nearly two decades owning and operating critically-acclaimed restaurants in Manhattan, including Zoë, Cena and Jovia.
