Dave Doyle of Cafe Balearica in Williamsburg is looking to open a new bar concept called Two Doors Down in the Lower East Side.

Doyle has not volunteered much information about the concept at press time besides saying that it is still in its early planning stages. However, to get a sense of his past projects, Cafe Balearica is a two-story warehouse turned cocktail bar and disco club inspired by the popular party island destination in Spain. It bills itself as an “intimate and low key bar and club environment” that brings “the energy and decadence of the Balearic Islands to the community of Brooklyn.” Popular drinks include but are not limited to their Pikes Colada, Club Tropicana and Balaricano. It also offers flat and sparkling wines, beers and ciders.

The venue can be rented out for private events and larger parties.
