PMac’s Hospitality Group is looking to bring a restaurant concept — whose name is still “TBD” — to the current Backstage Tavern space at 346-348 West 46th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, newly filed paperwork indicates.

Plans for the space include 29 indoor tables that will seat 99, as well as two stand-up bars that will seat 38. There is also a rear terrace with 10 tables that will seat 40 and a stand-up bar that will seat 10; a front mezzanine with five tables that will seat 12; and a front porch with four tables that will seat eight. The paperwork also indicates that there will be new signage put up for the space.

The proposed menu includes items like chicken wings, potato croquettes, salt-and-pepper chicken, flatbreads, salads, bowls, and entrees like braised short ribs, grilled sirloin steak frites and pan-roasted salmon.

The hours of operation for the new concept are expected to be 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. daily, according to filed paperwork. The outdoor space will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with extended hours to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

PMac’s Hospitality Group is not new to the New York restaurant and bar scene. Dublin natives Michael and Patrick McNamee are behind the brand, bringing spots like Dutch Freds, The Dickens, Bartley Dunne’s, Sir Henry’s, Miss Nellie’s and The Three Monkeys to the city.

“The brother’s grassroots approach to Irish hospitality has remained constant throughout their array of concepts and ventures and has transcended the changing fads of the food and beverage industry over the years,” the PMac’s website states. “The brother’s core values stem from their family’s long history in the hospitality business around the world, promising every customer that walks through their doors, to feel like one of their own.”

As of now, an opening timeline is unknown for the new location. Backstage Tavern just reopened last year as a revamped concept in the former Tito Murphy’s location. As of now, it is still in operation at the address.
