PopUp Bagels keeps things simple. At their 10 locations across New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts, the menus are concise and let the flavors of a bagel smeared with cream cheese shine through. Batches of fresh bagels fly out of the oven every ten minutes, so no matter what time of day you stop by, your bagel tastes delicious.
PopUp Bagels serves you the two components needed for a perfect breakfast: the bagels and the spreads. They don’t slice your bagel for you or ‘schmear’ it for you; you simply wait, order, and take your bagels to-go. With average wait times being less than 10 minutes, PopUp Bagels gets salty, seedy and tasty bagels out of their kitchens and into the hands of happy customers all over the Northeast.
The arrival of a permanent PopUp Bagels in Williamsburg will appeal not only to bagel aficionados, but to anyone who passes by and finds themselves intoxicated by the smell of freshly baked bagels.
PopUp Bagels touts itself as being “Not Famous, but Known” and those who know the bagel brand know it quickly becomes an institution in all of the communities where they have, well, popped up.
What Now NY connected with PopUp Bagel’s owner Adam Goldberg to get the latest updates on the Williamsburg store.
“We love the neighborhood, and fans of ours who have become members of the PopUp Bagels community are already coming from Brooklyn,” said Goldberg. “We are super excited about PopUp Bagels coming to Williamsburg.”
Goldberg and his team plan to design the space to take advance of the tall ceilings in this space on Driggs Ave. They will be building a bagel kitchen like what all of the other PopUp Bagels locations have.
Construction is set to begin imminently, and the goal is for the Williamsburg location to open sometime this November.
